Yes, your gold and black flatware is dishwasher safe and suitable for daily use. It’s made from high-quality 18/10 stainless steel and titanium-alloy plated which is the strongest coating available, providing excellent durability and resistance to corrosion and rust.

At Walter, we’ve spent years refining a coating process that outperforms anything you’ll find in typical flatware.

We don’t rely on quick plating or low-grade finishes — we use a titanium-alloy method that’s been developed, tested, and improved step by step.

2020 – The first major upgrade

We launched our initial titanium-plated flatware using a 50-cycle layering process.

It delivered a strong, reliable finish that customers loved — over 97% left 4–5 star reviews.

2023 – A stronger, deeper finish

We upgraded to a 100-cycle titanium plating process.

More cycles = more time in plating, a denser bond, and a noticeably tougher outer layer.

2024 – The latest evolution

Our newest titanium-alloy plating uses the same 100-cycle depth, but with an upgraded alloy blend that delivers even better hardness, color retention, and overall durability.

While many brands still use entry-level 20-cycle titanium plating, our multi-year improvements put our flatware in a completely different category.

A quick note on wear over time

No coating stays 100% perfect forever — even with the strongest finishes.

A light 10–15% fade after years of everyday use is absolutely normal.

The difference is that ours is engineered to stay beautiful for far longer than standard plated flatware.

Rinse your flatware with warm water and a mild dish soap before using it for the first time.

After each meal, wash off any food residue as soon as possible to keep every piece looking its best.

Handwashing will always offer the highest level of care, but all Walter flatware is dishwasher safe.

For the best results, use a gentle dishwasher cycle with temperatures at or below 104°F / 40°C to help preserve the finish.

Use mild dishwashing liquid only — avoid citrus-based, chlorine-based, or anti-limescale detergents.

Skip abrasive sponges or scrubbers, as they can dull the surface.

Once washed, dry each piece with a soft towel to prevent water spots, discoloration, or buildup.

When storing your flatware, keep it in a dry, ventilated space.

Separating forks and spoons from knives helps prevent scratches and keeps every piece in great condition.
